Currently have a requirement for an experienced Sales Account Manager, to assist my client on an initial 6 month project, due to run until the end of January 2023, with view for possible further extension.

Please note, this role has been determined to fall Inside of IR35 regulations.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

The HyperX Sales Account Manager will form part of a team that is responsible for the core functions related to the HyperX sales channel.

The selected candidate will play a fundamental role in maintaining relationships in the EMEA channel with the overall goal of increasing revenue and profitability across the HyperX product portfolio.

  • Account Management - work with local Business Development Managers/Regional Sales Managers conducting regular customer calls to keep a strong awareness of the country business. Understand the partner's business, how they fit into the HyperX ecosystem and challenges they may face.
  • Support the relevant Business Development Managers/Regional Sales Managers in their decision-making process with key objectives to ensure partner satisfaction and maximise sell-out.
  • Pricing - Assist the Commercial Manager with any special requests and ensure all pricing is communicated correctly.
  • Partner Onboarding - Work with Business Development Managers and PAOM team to onboard new partners, where needed.
  • Order/Channel Management - Set the correct parameters to ensure Customer Operations Specialist team eliminates overstocking issues and channel exposure. Escalation point for COS team if a decision cannot be taken.
  • Channel inventory & promotions - Work in coordination with the Business Management and Business Development teams to help manage our channel exposure. Identify slow selling and/or overstocked products at both Tier 1 and Tier 2 partner level and work on appropriate solutions.
  • Coordinate with the Business Development and Business Management teams to ensure promotions are planned correctly and executed effectively to maximise our investments. Follow up on promotions, securing sales out and invoice to finalise the claim.
  • Product launch execution - Assist the Business Management team in executing successful product launches. Provide a source of feedback to continuously improve this process.
  • Sales analysis - Analyse customer data and identify trends to help grow the business. Work with relevant teams to execute any proposals that are forthcoming.
  • Escalation Ownership - To coordinate where necessary with relevant departments within HP to ensure smooth daily business execution.
  • Weekly Reporting - detailed weekly summary for the respective region/s. Challenges referenced should be specific to region (not generic) with call to action/follow up on weekly calls with BDM.
  • Weekly BDM Call - use template to facilitate discussion points with your BDM/s, reference weekly report and other topics. Regular Communication with BDMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 partners (where applicable) is paramount to driving the business.
