Communications & Change Specialist

ACMF, APMG, Prosci,

London-Hybrid working

6 month contract

£550-£580 per day inside of IR 35

A Global provider of IT services and solutions has a requirement for an experienced Communications & Change Specialist to join their team on a contract basis. You will be working on various project's from new kit rollouts to device as a service. You will take a lead on managing business change relating to specific end-user services functions, gathering strategic and tactical business requirements relevant to those functions. This will include a strong focus on communications, training, and employee engagement, and will play a key role in influencing the design and implementation of new services in ways that meet employees needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the impact of change to the users, and technical support teams
  • Communicating the change through various internal channels. May liaise with Digital Content Designers to create content.
  • Work with the end-user to understand the change from their perspective
  • Understand and manage the impact to the technical support teams, pass this back through to the project teams.
  • Plan and deliver communications, training, user guidance, service documentation, and other events and materials required to convey an exciting proposition for the clients IT employee experiences, and to support employees in their adoption of new technology
  • Deliver communications proactively, including following the end of the project lifespan, to realise the full value of technologies.
  • Build and engage user communities to give feedback on projects, including specific design issues, and to manage change and drive adoption within their teams and business areas
  • Implement feedback methods to capture usable insights and drive the voice of the employee through projects
  • Use data, feedback, and UX insights to tailor and optimise approaches based on real employee needs.

Key Experience:

  • An excellent understanding of business change methodologies and concepts - a seasoned change practitioner with experience in large-scale IT projects
  • A strong communicator with the ability to work creatively, while maintaining precision, to define a clear narrative and proposition and articulate it effectively
  • An eye for detail and ability to operate an effective communications, training and change management schedule
  • Ability to self-organise and self-drive within a complex environment with frequently changing priorities
  • An understanding of technology delivery and service management methodologies (eg Agile, ITIL) is desirable

Qualifications:

  • A relevant Change Management qualification is required eg Change Manager Institute ACMF, APMG - Change Management, Prosci; or equivalent qualifications or experience
