Senior User Researcher24 mths contract Hybrid working
2 days office based in central locations London, Leeds or Manchester
Rate - 600 to 625 Inscope of IR35
As part of this project working for one of our prestigious clients the Senior User Researcher role will be to design, conduct and analyse user research using a range of techniques. This will involve the design, build, Test and Release packages of work delivered over defined Sprints or within a managed Kanban for an end-to-end service that delivers value to users, to also include subsequent iterative enhancements to said packages trackable in JIRA/Confluence.
Responsibilities
Work with experienced user researchers to plan and define the appropriate research methods, working to understand the rationale behind the selection.
Work within agile project teams, providing, to the team, a focus on user centred design.
Analyse and synthesise user research data into valuable insights and weigh evidence from various sources to increase consensus and challenge assumptions.
Conduct user research, using a range of research methods, both qualitative and quantitative.
Plan and conduct inclusive research, understanding the diversity of users of government service, making it accessible for everyone.
Map the user experience to understand how the user consumes the service and its pain points.
You must be able to evidence use of user centred design tools and techniques with a clear focus on vision and value to the end user. Working on projects where all outcomes were delivered using agile values, practices and methodologies.
