Background:
The Country HR Business Partner for "Belgium" is to support the overall people strategy of the HR team by providing strategic support and advice on a broad range of employment issues. The CHRBP is used to be a trusted partner with the Country Leader and the Country Leadership Team on matters of organizational design and development of the Country Programme, and on strategic HR related matters across the client in "Belgium". The position holder is working in close partnership with the FHRBP's, the COE's, and the GHRS team, giving detailed advice and problem resolution on complex and sensitive HR policy interpretation, procedural issues and works council/collective situations.

Further on the CHRBP is drawing on deep policy and labour law knowledge and understanding, and as custodian of HR policies and procedures in-country, delivers the HR country plan to ensure organizational effectiveness. The person will also ensure that all teams within "Belgium" are working effectively in line with client's Code of Conduct and working culture.

Tasks (independent delivery):

? Ensuring compliance to all legislative requirements for "Belgium"
? Implementing and managing all changes which are rolled out as required by the business or HR team within the timeframe and with procedural accuracy and compliance ensuring appropriate collaboration with local works council and state institutions.
? Ensuring all employment relations issues and matters in "Belgium" are dealt with 100% compliance and business risk is minimized and key stakeholders notified.
? Proactively analyzing country risks and ensuring mitigation plans are in place (in close partnership with the Employment Legal team.
? Managing the in-country local works agenda.
? Responsible for the standard BAU in-country HRBP activities per the existing HR R&R matrix

Skills:
? Bachelor degree, or equivalent, in human resource management, organizational psychology, business, or related field required
? 10+ years' experience in HR Business Partner or HR leader roles, working in a dynamic global organization
? Fluency in English language skills
? Proven experience in building relations and successful negotiations with Works Councils (incl. collective measures)
? Deep and broad knowledge of HR processes gained in a dynamic global and matrix organization
? Skilled communicator and influencer within a culturally diverse environment
? Ability to proactively develop and implement effective change management plans for key HR and business initiatives
? Customer focus & results orientation
? Able to thrive between strategic and tactical work with ease
? Talent to build strong relationships and positively influence others
? High level resilient and openness to change
