Service Delivery Manager
South London/Remote - Hybrid working.
£450 - £500 per day (Outside IR35)
Initial 6-Month Contract
Our client provides services in the cloud and security to highly secure Government departments. As part of a sizeable re-platforming program, the client is transitioning many Legacy services from on-prem to Cloud hosted technology.
We are recruiting for an SC Cleared Service Delivery Manager who has experience in AWS cloud migration projects within the public sector.
Mostly remote (90%) with occasional travel to South London
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and managing AWS cloud platform support functions to ensure optimal service.
- Taking ownership of high priority incidents, coordinating with resolution parties, and establishing effective communication between stakeholders for post-incident reviews.
- Ensuring that systems, procedures, and methodologies are in place to support outstanding service delivery.
- Developing a deep understanding of projects to gain insights into the scope of service delivery Performance and Quality Management.
- Recommending methods of improvement and seeing that actions are implemented on time for service delivery upgrades.
- Providing accurate and regular reports to the management on performance of the service delivery.
- Building strong relationships with teams and stakeholders to enable effective dialogue exchange.
Additional Skills:
- Must be SC Cleared
- Experience of ServiceNow
- Experience and knowledge of Service Management Framework
- Experience running a 24x7x365 service management function including:
- Staffing levels
- Ways of Working
- Change Management
- Continuity Management
- Incident Management
- Service Improvement
- Evidence of Cloud knowledge including SaaS, IaaS and PaaS.
- Advanced stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
