Associate Director of Information and Patient Services - NHS Acute Trust
Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite in Manchester
£650 per day working outside iR35
6 months

The Associate Director of Information and Patient Services will be responsible for leading the Information Services department to ensure our patients have access to accurate, up-to-date information and high-quality care. This role will involve managing demand, triage, prioritisation, and delivering digital products to process. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and management skills, be a good communicator, and be able to represent the service with senior persons and influence at Executive level.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage our Information Services department, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational management
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient experience, engagement, and satisfaction
  • Manage demand, triage, and prioritisation of Information Services requests
  • Ensure accurate, up-to-date patient information is available and accessible to patients and clinicians
  • Deliver digital products and services to support patient care and improve operational efficiency
  • Understand the NHS performance agenda and work to deliver against key performance indicators
  • Implement Agile principles and Sprint planning to ensure efficient project management and delivery
  • Communicate effectively with senior personnel and represent the service at Executive level
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively
  • Support the professional development of the Information Services team
Qualifications:
  • Experience working at Director/CIO level in an NHS Acute Trust
  • Strong Information Management experience and understanding of running an Information Services department
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional service delivery and operational management
  • Understanding of NHS performance agenda
  • Experience managing demand, triage, and prioritisation
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Understanding of Agile principles and Sprint planning
