On a day to day to basis this Risk and Supplier Management Role would be responsible for;
- Managing all Procurement Supplier relationships, acting as a main point of contact and Subject matter expert.
- Responsible for devising and implementing all supplier Assurance activity in procurement and supplier management.
- Responsible for managing the teams risk and control self assessment and associated risk controls.
- Reviewing, re-creating and maintaining the department Business Risk Scenario.
- Managing all Procurement supplier relationships, ensuring both parties are happy and working in collaboration, escalating issues to senior board members when necessary.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and challenging their requirements where necessary which are not in line with Procurement policy and the overall procurement strategy.
- Providing guidance to various internal and external stakeholders, highlighting how legislation change affects procurement and supplier relationships.
This role is highly visible within the business and as a Risk and Supplier Management you will get a high degree of autonomy and authority to make business critical decisions.
