Description
I am currently on the lookout for an experienced Client Owners Engineer for a new build Energy from Waste project based in the South West of England.This is a long-term contract position with a view to a quick start for the right candidate who will be representing one of the largest Waste Management companies in the World.
You will be working through a major engineering consultancy who are offering a highly competitive rate of pay.
The role will entail providing technical expertise throughout all phases of the site construction and commissioning, encompassing a variety of mechanical, electrical and civil packages of work.
You do not necessarily need to be an expert in all disciplines but should be able to liaise with the Principal Contractor and ensure progress, provide QA, inspection and HSE insight and report back to senior management.
Communication skills are vital and you should be a strong manager who can successfully get your point across where required but also be able to mediate and increase cohesion between all parties on site.
You should possess-
- A construction background having worked on multi-million pound projects within either the Power Generation/ Petrochemical/ Oil & Gas industries
- Full working knowledge of UK regulations surrounding Health and Safety and Quality
- Experience of working in consultancy/ client side roles
- Multi-disciplinary engineering background
