Description
A London Trust is looking for an Capital Projects Manager join their Capital Projects team that manages projects across the Trust property portfolio.The projects that have recently been completed are a new Accident & Emergency Department and new 4 new Theatres, and recently the Trust have been successful in being given budget to continue to improve the in bed facilities at the Trust.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the projects under their care and will procure, manage and supervise in-house resource. They will be responsible for managing external Consultants and Contractors in the successful delivery of these projects.
A key element to the job will be assisting the team to deliver improvements in the Project Services team including:
- Increasing Cost Certainty
- Optimising Programme delivery
- Achieving Value for Money
- Improving department skill set
- Improved governance and clear reporting
- Developing and implementing Department KPIs
Reporting to the Director of Capital Projects, the post holder will lead on all aspects of projects from Inception to completion.
You must have strong skills in:
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Creating and delivering project plans
- Experience in NHS Estates Development
