I am trying to hire a Finance manager for our public sector client.

Essential Experience:

- To ensure the monthly accounts show a true and fair position of the Agencies finances, and that income and expenditure accruals and prepayments are correctly calculated and reflected in the accounts;
- To provide leadership to the Management Accountants and taking responsibility for the day to day management of management accounts team including training and mentoring team members
- Ensure customer invoicing is carried out on a timely and accurate basis.
- Working with the Reporting Manager, provide robust, timely and accurate management information to budget holders, Ex Comm management board, Directors and customer reports that demonstrate progress against budgets and forecasts.
- Co-ordinate the production of the annual budgeting and strategic planning, and provide all management information to inform policy and funding decisions.
- Identify ways to build the capability and awareness of general financial management within the Agency, but particularly with the finance contacts and provide training to finance contacts within Operations and Science.
