IT PROJECT MANAGER
Background
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced IT Project Manager to join their IT team reporting to the Technical Director.
The role involves overall coordination, status reporting and monitoring of project lead time expectations.
The role requires deep project management experience in a fast moving commercial business sector. Experience managing end to end IT implementation projects is required. Experience project managing web development work would be desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- Perform requirements gathering and analysis
- Identify, manage and support resolution of risks and issues
- Coordinate and drive progression of daily/weekly meetings to completion
- Manage stakeholder relationships assigned to projects
- Prioritize work stream activities
- Plan and schedule project timelines
- Manage project budgets
- Demonstrated track record of working with high level Business and IT executives in translating IT strategies into business value
- Apply formalised project management methodologies ie Scrum/Waterfall/Agile
Key skills
- Batchelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science
- 5-7 years' experience in IT project management
- Prince2/PMP certification
- Advanced Communication and Presentation Skills
