Description
We require a Search Engine Specialist for a short contract at our Central Belt based client.
You will be required to develop the Search capacity and functionality of the Search engine that searches within the website and identified external website for a distinct set of inputs, helping users quickly get to the information they are looking for and assist with user journey of discovery to related information.
Essential experience:
- Expertise in the organisation of information and data
- Systems/coding knowledge
- Experienced with metadata and structured search including advanced search options including date, topic, use of a controlled vocabulary
- Analysis of website metrics and user behaviour data to make intelligent decisions on optimising navigation structures
