FTTP Outside Plant (OSP) DesignOur client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for a FTTP Outside Plant (OSP) Design to join their business in the United Kingdom.
Position Title: FTTP Outside Plant (OSP) Design
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: September/October 2015
Duration: 3 months rolling

Responsibilities:
- To prepare, monitor and control the FTTP cable network civil design activities
- Ensure that the ODN network is designed in a cost effective manner
- Manage the ODN design activities (exp. design output are submitted and approved timely to meeting the project's schedule, quality standards and customer needs)
- Conduct Design Review Meetings and Workshops as required
- Create ODN design guidelines and drafting standards/requirements for the turnkey project
- Investigate and determine if survey reports/results are acceptable and determine/justify the Feeder, FDT and Distribution cable routing and locations
- Carry out feasibility and BOQ study and formulate Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) on
- FTTP ODN projects, and prepare proposals or reports
Qualification:
- 3+ years of experiences in telecommunication OSP fields
- Training/Qualification recognized by appropriate authorities.
- Good inter-personal, negotiation and communication skill with customer-oriented mindset
- Able to lead and manage a working team.
