Infrastructure Architect - Datacentre, Devops, Continuous Integration - London
Square One are looking for an Infrastructure Architect to come on board for a 3 month contract based in Central London.
1. Infrastructure implications of decisions on Elevated verses assured and hosting Government services at OFFICIAL level with commercially available hosting providers,
2. Drive the re-tendering of the hosting provider. Skyscape contract coming up for renewal, and anticipated agreement of use of OFFICIAL throughout CPP seen as an opportunity.
3. Assessment as to whether the hosting platform wrap' that the CPP Hosting and Support Services provides to CPP is fit for purpose, supports the required NFRs etc.
Design of data centre/hosting solutions, including ability to talk physical.
Agile/experience of specifying Devops environments/Continuous integration etc.
Commercial understanding to write technical aspects of tender documentation and help drive a procurement exercise
Gravitas and politically savvy to navigate what could be a politically and emotionally charged decision to move from the current set up where there has been a lot of money and effort invested.
This is an initial 3 month contract based in Central London paying excellent daily rates looking to start on Monday 19th October 2015.
