Vrasa, an interactive consultancy with headquarters in Nashville, is seeking a Senior Freelance Rails Engineer to build and maintain projects on retainer for the next 12 months.This Rails Engineer is responsible for executing build requests for our current clients. This person is also responsible for working with a Project Director to ensure Vrasa practitioners are allocated to minimize overlap, maximize efficiency, and keep the office from reaching for the antacid.
You don’t need to be an expert in Ruby on Rails, but you need to know how to build and maintain a code base both large and small, and with budgets in some cases of over $500k. You need to know how to anticipate risks and devise appropriate strategies for dealing with them.
