I am representing a client in a specialist bank in Dublin city centre. The client is looking for a SQL Server developer to join their team of developers for a 12 month project. This is an exciting and challenging project, the developer will be an integral part of the projectContract Length: 12 months
Location: Dublin City Centre
Rate: Negotiable
Start Date: November 2nd (approx.)
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in all areas of SQL development.
- Analysis of requirements from business and technical partners.
- Analysis of application queries and issues.
- Support of User Acceptance Testing.
Technical skills:
- 4+ years in software development in the financial/insurance or related industry.
- General problem solving mentality. The ability to collaborate with different teams on solutions for a variety of different business, code & data related problems.
- Excellent T-SQL query development skills will be required.
- Extensive SSIS, Data mapping, ETL experience required.
- SSRS and SSAS an added bonus.
- Exposure to Automated acceptance testing (eg Fitnesse) would be an advantage.
- Working under Agile/Scrum methodology would be an advantage.
