Description

Kira Inc. is a Toronto-based startup using machine learning to automate review of complex documents by professionals.

We’re looking for a web designer to join our design team. Your primary responsibility would be to create and maintain our public website and other marketing pages, and help out with our main application when no marketing work is needed. Our team is small, pragmatic, and inquisitive; we care deeply about design, love learning new technologies and balance adoption with good analysis.

This position is part time with the possibility of going full time.

Requirements

  • Passion for typography, grid, and design
  • Experiences in web design and be able to show samples of design process
  • Understanding best practices in front-end web development
  • Proficiency in HTML and SASS (if you’re into postCSS, thrill us with a project you’ve done with it)
  • Willingness to learn our html templating language (clojure hiccup)
