Manufacturing Engineer working alongside a newly created team providing daily support of products, processes, materials, and equipment in order to achieve production goals.Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer II
Location: Galway
Salary: €45,000-€55,000
The Job as a Manufacturing Engineer:
- Test and experimental data to establish performance standards for newly implemented or modified products / processes.
- Summarise, analyse and draw conclusions from test results leading to effective technical resolution.
- Analyse processes, product, material specifications and performance requirements.
- Demonstrate best practices in line with the department and site objectives.
- Troubleshoot new products / process, working closely with product development.
- Drive improvement processes in terms of design, layout and operational performance.
- Work closely with associate engineers and technicians and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure quality compliance across all quality systems.
- Demonstrates good working knowledge and application of validation techniques and associated regulatory requirements.
- Evaluates in conjunction with EHS new equipment/processes/chemicals for environmental impact/effect to eliminate or lessen such impacts/effects.

Technical Skills Needed as a Manufacturing Engineer:
- A relevant degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Biomedical Engineering etc.
- 3-4 years relevant experience as an Engineer in the medical device industry.
- Lean/6 Sigma Experience is an advantage.
