Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Solutions Architect to work for a fast growing Software Solution company, on a project to help drive significant change through new products and platforms with cutting edge technology across diverse business environments.The Solution Architect will work across several industry leading companies in a pivotal role to define the target state for both existing products and new initiatives.
Solutions Architect Job Role:
- Responsible for architectural strategy and vision
- Creation of product roadmaps
- Liaise with business stakeholders to ensure solutions are aligned to requirements
- Provides oversight on complex software design activities and modifications.
- Researches architectural options and analyzes technology trends. Maintains knowledge of technology and standards.
- Direct technology best practices & efficiency improvements and maintain cross-product knowledge.
- Promote technical communication and convergence across the company.
- Help with producing budget estimates for projects.
- Working with internal software developers and 3rd party suppliers
Experience required:
- Proven experience delivering commercial large-scale software solutions.
- Software development background with web applications including SOA/microservice patterns
- Cloud (AWS)
- Architectural documentation skills including UML
- TOGAF
- Agile methodology
- Excellent communication skills
Contract Length: 3-6 months
Location: Greater Manchester
Start date: ASAP
Rate: £per day
