Description
Summary- The candidate will serve in one of two roles: (1) Coordinator of the overall display design build process including quality assurance and management of revision control process or (2) Building and implementing the displays.
- The candidate will be required to create displays for the e-terraplatform system to be used to control and monitor the power system.
- The candidate will assist in developing display standards and templates to facilitate the efficient creation of quality user interface displays and to ensure timely implementation.
- Creation and verification of prototype displays of each type.
- Identification and creation of templates that reflect the standard components on representative displays.
- Creation of draft Displays.
- Check and quality assurance of draft displays.
- Display data linking to database.
- Display revision based on comments/corrections.
- Display updates associated with ongoing revision control.
Experience/Skills:
- Experience developing displays for Real Time systems.
- Experience managing/supervising displays build process.
- Maintaining SCADA/EMS systems.
- Working knowledge of telecommunications, RTUs, end devices and Real Time databases to support for these devices.
- Work experience in the utility industries.
- Prior experience with database tools, FG Builder and Substation Editor.
- BS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or related field is required.
- Candidates NEED TO HAVE at least 5-10 years experience.
- Experience designing and implementing user interface displays.
