Description
Elation’s development team is a small group of really talented engineers who are passionate about our product and our users. As a member of the team you’ll be involved in product design and development, work on all parts of the stack, and deploy your changes to production weekly.

Responsibilities
Design and develop new product features on all parts of the stack
Collaborate with design, product, and qa teams to deliver projects with measurable business results
Suggest and drive improvement on all parts of the stack and internal development processes
Help our skilled support team triage bugs and troubleshoot production issues
Mentor other engineers and participate in code reviews
Experience and Skills
At least five years experience (or equivalent) working professionally as a full stack developer in a fast-paced startup
Strong proficiency in Python, Django, JavaScript, and jQuery
Strong SQL and relational database modeling skills
Experience with modern browser technologies
Experience in some of these: MySQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, Celery, AWS
Experience building and debugging distributed systems in a team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong sense of empathy
Ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-moving dynamic environment
BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Bonus Points
Knowledge or strong interest on US healthcare industry and common technologies used
Experience designing and building public APIs
Complete comfort in putting on a product manager hat when needed
