Financial Reporting Accountant

Working with a Financial Services Organisation, you will be supporting as part of a business transformation project. As a Financial Reporting Accountant, you will be responsible for both management and statutory reporting. You will spend your time collecting, analysing, interpreting and reporting on information to deliver robust & accurate monthly results.
The role involves gathering, validating and compiling accurate financial information, and interpreting financial information to determine significance, business impact and implications. Ensuring both the information and its interpretation is presented clearly, and in the appropriate format for the audience and business purpose is essential. Communicating and liaising with colleagues is also key to this role. Managing a robust financial close process - ensuring stringent financial control, as well as policy compliance. The role holder will also have the opportunity to identify and suggest opportunities to add value through improved efficiencies and/or effectiveness.
Applicants will need to demonstrate previous experience in a Finance environment, and have the ability to deliver high quality analytics to tight deadlines, and meet customer/stakeholder expectations. Ideally candidates will be qualified Accountants, or as minimum qualified by experience.
