Description
A contract Cost Engineer/Cost Administrator is required to support the Project Controls Manager in delivery of a major European bio pharmaceutical CAPEX investment.This investment is a mixture of refurbishment and new build and will include laboratory, warehouse, dispensing, filling and packaging capabilities.
Day to day duties:
*Deliver accurate, consistent and up-to-date financial project figures – on KPI’s such as budget, actual spend, accrued cost, forecast, cash flow projection etc..
*Perform budget analysis (e.g. plan/actual comparison, forecast of variable personnel cost) and budgeting for the project and its respective sub-projects.
*Establish the relevant project reports on time and with the required quality and accuracy.
*Support project throughout the full lifecycle from concept to close, interacting with the Engineering consultancies/users executing work
*Apply and develop controlling tools
*Take part in regular technical meetings to ensure communication with all Engineering functions/Stake Holders and Project Developers as needed
*Ensure interface with Risk Management, Procurement and Accounting
*Deputise for Project Controls Lead
Skills & Qualifications
*Degree qualified in a relevant subject
*Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure and to tight time lines
*Excellent MS Excel skills required; knowledge of additional controlling tools an advantage
*Experience in interacting with colleagues in a Project Matrix organisation
*Previous experience of providing cost support on CAPEX projects from initial conception to close
*Language skills- business French/English – written and oral
*Experience in Cost Management and Project Control of large scale €100 million CAPEX Projects
*Experience gained working on Pharma/bio pharma CAPEX projects
*International project experience
