Salesforce QA Tester / Contract / London / £300 - £400 per dayMy client, a global recruitment firm, is looking for an experienced QA tester with at least one year of experience testing on the Salesforce platform to join their expanding team based in central London.
The role involves quality assurance and testing on the Salesforce plaform for a global implementation/integration.
The candidate must possess;
- 3+ years of experience within theQA space.
- Knowledge of QA methodologies and testing techniques (regression testing, performance etc)
- Keen attention to detail
- Some experience in integration testing with Salesforce (optional)
- Some experience with automation testing (optional)
- 1-1.5 years of experience minimum within theSalesforce space
- Can navigate the Salesforce UI
- Perform basic admin tasks i.e. creating users
- Basic configuration skills (hiding fields, making things visible) (optional)
- Basic understanding of security model and relationships within Salesforce (optional, but would be very helpful)
- Can query salesforce backend to validate and verify tests via Salesforce Workbench/Developer Console (optional, but ideal for some tests)
- Knowledge and ability to use bug tracking software, JIRA is ideal.
- Ability to write structured test scripts, regression packs and defect reports.
- Knowledge of agile methodology and SCRUM.
- Experience within the recruitment and staffing industry is a bonus but not required.
Other skills:
- Actively participates in defining of Acceptance Criteria
- Participates in improving the Salesforces system for end user experience
- Challenges and questions Devs/BA/QA with regards to solutions and issues.
- Communicate clearly to Developers and BA's about issues
- Works well within a team (regardless of whether they are testing independently or pair testing)
- Takes the initiative to resolve issues and blockers.
