Description
IBM Mainframe Developer urgently needed in Dublin to start on the . Daily rate will be €436 on a 6 month renewal contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Engineering in either/both SDLC and Agile Environment (Scrum) delivering high-quality coded solutions in required technology families, platforms, functional and industry domains using prescribed tools, frameworks and technologies
Establish & develop strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Deliver tailored results leveraging your technical competency and industry knowledge.
Implement all software developments/changes to the required standards and within agreed deadlines.
Proactively identify and assist in the timely resolution of issues and defects.
Provide post implementation support.
Qualifications:
Degree educated or higher in a relevant academic subject
Any industry recognised certifications and/or memberships are also desirable.
Key Competencies and Experience
Experience of working on both New-build and Maintenance programs in Banking or similar industries.
Have extensive experience in the analysis, design, build, test, installation, and support of properly engineered information systems.
Be a strong and committed team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
Have strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Be proactive in developing own skills and knowledge.
Have strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Have the ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
Have the ability to work in an Agile team environment - actively participating in story planning and detailed daily stand-ups.
Have an excellent customer service attitude and the ability to interact with people in a professional manner.
