Description
MS BI Architect / Consultant - SSAS / SSRS / SSIS wanted for a company in the financial sector located in Zurich. This is a long term contract opportunity for an experienced Business Intelligence Consultant to be involved in driving an number of BI topics within this global client.Your tasks:
- Engaging in research in all topics pertinent to the MS Business Intelligence stack and wider IT developments
- Directing provision, maintaining and improving the MS BI platform architecture
- Creating concepts and making design decisions for new solutions in MS BI scope
- Defining and driving automation and self-service initiatives
- Ensuring quality documentation is in place (architecture etc.)
Your experience/skills:
- At least 8 years experience in MS BI technologies (SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, SharePoint BI features, BI Clients)
- Must have a strong understanding of MS BI infrastructure
- ITIL Foundation certified
- Good understanding of alternative database platforms (Oracle, DB2 or similar)
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Cloud offerings (Azure, Power BI etc.)
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German would be a big plus
