Description
Architect WebLogic, J2EE JSF Spring MVC jQuery, Ajax, Web services, JPA, Hibernate and integration with Oracle Service Business. Expert knowledge of the above is required for long-term contract work 2 years and beyond! Must possess strong English and ideally some French! 5 Years' experience is required for this one.
This role is based in Brussels with a day rate of €383 a day!
For our client, a European Institution situated in Brussels, we are looking for a skilled Senior Consultant with extensive experience in J2EE and SOA. As such, you will become part of a team of experienced professionals working together to develop a solution in order to manage the European policies, budgets and programmes
The technology environment chosen is as follows:
*The portal is relying on Oracle WebLogic Portal 10.3., including a Content Manager module integrated with Autonomy search services and a Document Repository being a central document management solution for several of the project's applications;
*Interoperability is achieved based on SOA principles and Oracle Service Bus;
*The development is adhering to the Java-based reference architecture based on spring, spring mvc, jpa, hibernate, jax-ws, and jsf;
*Data is stored in Oracle Database 10.3;
*Development is based on Rational Unified Process and the Rational Tools (eg Team Concert,
Software Modeller, Software Architect and Requisite Pro).
Your main responsibilities in the project will be the following:
*Services around the conception, design, and coordination of the implementation of technical architecture of Web-based applications based on J2EE & SOA and IT Security;
*Assistance with the implementation of the technical architecture during information systems development projects;
*Participation in technical working groups and progress meetings;
*Analysis and review of architectures, with a focus on reusable components, interoperability and security aspects;
*Expert advice and coaching on Information System architecture and technologies.
The selected candidates shall have:
*Minimum 4 years of university studies (repeated years excluded) and 5 years of relevant professional experience OR minimum 3 years of university studies (repeated years excluded) and 7 years of professional experience;
*Expert level knowledge in the following areas: WebLogic Application Server, J2EE technologies and Architecture of the information systems based on JSF, Spring MVC, jQuery, Ajax, Web services, JPA, Hibernate and integration with Oracle Service Bus;
*Practical experience proving the capability to execute the tasks described above;
*Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written) and if possible French
*Rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working;
*Proactive attitude, communicative (ie good listener) and customer-oriented.
