Description
My client is looking for a proven Enterprise Architect to support them on a new project they are starting. It is a End to End BI, Datawarehouse & Analytics project which involve working with this client and their end client who they are delivering the project for.You will need to be hands on, business driven, work with a distributor/development team offshore and be able to communicate to developers and senior director level staff.
My client is really looking for someone who is pro-active and will get involved in the project. The successful candidate will need to be technology agnostic so they can talk about implementing the correct technology using real life experiences.
You must have experience in BI, Datawarehousing, Enterprise Architecture and Analytics. TOGAF, Agile & Waterfall experience is also desirable.

Principal Accountabilities
*Develop technical architecture in consultation with the client and technical delivery teams.
*Leads through hands-on involvement in system architecture, component architecture, design, development and rollout of end-to-end IT solutions.
*Leads the design and development of a solution of high complexity technically, functionally or operationally. Recommend improvements and alternative technical solutions to resolve problems.
*Recommends and helps decision making on the choice of technologies for various system components
*Support project manager in estimation and planning of solution development and rollout activities
*Engage with senior IT persons within end client organisations and reach consensus for technical decisions
*Makes decisions on a timely basis, takes appropriate risks even in ambiguous situations, and accepts accountability for decisions made.
Education, Experience & Specialised Knowledge Required
*Graduate with 10+ years practical technical experience in IT projects, at least 5 years in technical architecture and design for medium scale IT integration projects involving multiple data sources, data warehouses and BI components
*Proficient in technical architecture and design of: API's, Transaction processing, ETL and Data interchange, Data Integration and MDM, Data Marts, User interfaces, Custom Applications, Analytical tools and Operational services
*Prior hands-on experience in Software Development, Business Analysis and Requirements Definition for multi-tier IT systems
*Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organisation to accomplish team goals and is effective working in a matrix environment. Able to work and think independently.
*Experience in applying one or more IT architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, EAP etc.) *Willing to challenge and be challenged
*Experience in creating architecture using one or more of these technologies and tools: Informatica, SAP BW, TearaData, Oracle, SQL Server, SAS, Qlikview, Custom Apps, Excel Services The following experience/skills would be of advantage
*Exposure to Pharmaceutical market data and associated solutions - Market measurement, Brand/Portfolio Performance Management, Pricing and Supply Chain Management.
*Experience in Big Data and Cloud based technologies
*Hardware and communications infrastructure technologies
