Leading investment bank requires a very strong Scala Developer to build cutting edge financial security software solutions in a business facing environment.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for implementing Scala solutions on Hadoop (Spark) and GraphX (Spark GraphDB).
The role will require working closely with the front end development team, Project Managers, Technical Leads, Data analysts, server and web developers, QA engineers, and Business Analysts throughout the project lifecycle.
The successful candidate will have significant Scala experience, ideally gained by working on large, enterprise systems.
Rate: £600-£700p/day
Start: ASAP (can wait 4 weeks)
Duration: 6 months initial, scope for multiple extensions
