Contract: 5 months (with possible Extension)
Rate: Upto £350 per day
Essential:
- Postholder will have Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (MCIPS) or relevant work based experience. Minimum of five GCSE's including Maths & English Language at Grade C or above (or equivalent), or relevant work based experience.
- Good years' experience of Procurement in an organisation procuring goods and services.
- In depth specialist knowledge of procurement procedures and working knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory requirements and contract law.
Desirable Experience: (Not Mandatory)
- Experience of planning and developing procurement strategies for contracts where EC Procurement Directives apply. Experience of a multi-functional Finance System.
- Understanding of Centralized Category Procurement and Govt Approval processes.
- Good communication and presentational skills with which to influence stakeholders.
- Numeracy, analytical and problem solving skills.
