For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a senior Dev engineer for a DevOps team who delivers complex front-end continuous integration tooling for applications.
For our browser platform building block team we are looking for a senior software engineer who is front-end enthusiastic, in-depth knowledge on web technologies, continuous integration guru, a true believer of agile and continuous delivery. You are keen on optimize our solutions with highest quality standard to maximize speed and scale. In your role you have influence on customer satisfaction and therefore it is of the highest importance that the customer interest always comes first.
Job description Sr. Web Developer (Front-End) (QR3534)
Your main focus will be building continuous integration solutions for large scale of front-end development teams.
You, together with Product Owner and other seniors in the team:
- Manage technical priorities, deadlines and deliverables. You design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software solutions.
- Initiate, iterate and continuous improvement on technology, developing the product as well as the way of work.
- Embrace emerging standards while promoting best practices in order to push the limits of what a browser can do.
- Continuously gather feedback from product users
Profile (skills & experience) - Must haves! Sr. Web Developer (Front-End) (QR3534)
- BS/MS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in software development; in-depth experience developing web-based applications in enterprise environment.
- 4+ years of relevant programming experience in JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
- 2+ years of experience in Node.JS, grunt
- In-depth knowledge on principles of modern web frameworks like MVC.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on on continuous integration
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (such as Angular) and web components.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Adaptable, proactive, and willing to take ownership and responsibility.
- Experience with Java 8, Mongo DB is a plus.
- Candidates who speak the Dutch language are preferred.
