SAS Administrator

A fantastic position for a SAS Administrator been opened by my client, a leading global financial service. This role will be part of their Big Data Services to deliver and support SAS infrastructure/platforms across business and functions both regional and global.

You will deliver on a number of projects including delivering SAS on Hadoop across a number UK Divisions and then on a more global scale.

The responsibilities also include
*Accountability and input to overall BI Analytics Infrastructure design.
*The installation, maintenance and support of SAS Client Server products, services and infrastructure, working towards globally and future state aligned solutions.
*Setting and evolving BI SAS technical standards and reviewing platform deliverables across the wider team.
*Providing consultancy for all stakeholders with reference to design options and infrastructure usage.
*Participate in the full project life cycle working with required stakeholders on all aspects of SAS infrastructure deliverables.

Required Skills must include:
*Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of SAS and Analytical products
*Experience working in relevant environment/s, ie SAS Platform & Solution Administration
*Past working experience in a relevant role, ie SAS Administrator or an equivalent role.
*Experience of using relevant software packages, ie Strong knowledge of SAS suite including 9.4, ideally Unix/Linux
*Strong Linux Scripting experience
