Description
A top tier Asset Services firm based in London is seeking a Procurement/Contract Manager to join their function in Canary Wharf.
This position reports into the Global Procurement Services Contracting Center (GPS-Contracting) in Boston, and will act under the coordination of the Head of EMEA Procurement based in London. This positon will interface extensively with internal business stakeholders, category/subject matter experts, and suppliers.
Essential
The ideal Candidate will be highly skilled in contract drafting, redlining, and document management, while meeting operating standards in a high volume, complex contracting process. Candidates should have a very strong contract negotiation background with proven customer relationship and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience of 5-7 years is required.
Desirable
Legal/Paralegal education with corporate work experience, particularly in procurement, will be highly considered.
Experience with financial services and information technology contracting is a plus.
Experience negotiating international agreements is a plus.
Fluency in other European languages is a plus (French, German or Italian preferred).
