Enterprise Security Architect/AWS/Azure/Virtualization/Cloud
My client is urgently looking for a security architect to go on board and undertake all aspects of security around the Cloud at Global level. They will be required to work from home with travel to Dublin for meetings/workshops, so please apply only if you are happy to travel between these 2 locations on a weekly basis.
Key Responsibilities of the Security Architect
- Carry out all aspects of security around the cloud (ie Azure, AWS, virtualization, etc.)
- Take responsibility for information security governance, risk management and compliance
- Interpret complex information and provide informed analysis
- Carry out reviews of proposed changes & projects
- Develop and present information security architecture policies, standards and procedures
- Undertake monitoring of IT environments for compliance with information security architecture policies and standards
Key Skills and Experience required for the successful Security Consultant
- Experience in working with Azure, AWS, virtualization
- Expertise in information security governance, risk management and compliance
- Skilled in interpreting complex information and providing informed analysis
- Comprehensive experience in the development and presentation of information security architecture policies, standards and procedures
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Proven ability to lead and manage teams and projects and Excellent communication and presentation skills
- LAN/WAN networking, Systems Administration of both Windows and Linux based platforms, Firewalls, IDS/IPS design and implementation, computer forensic techniques, databases, web and Mail Servers, and general systems design and operation
