DESIGN ANALYST

Project Overview:

We need a Design Analyst to complete the following:

1. The Design Analyst will review existing HFC node networks to determine if a segmentation or a fiber-deeper split is needed in order to relieve bandwidth congestion. This will be done using the Node Split Analysis tool. This would be on-going daily work with a maximum expected volume of approximately 1200 nodes.
2. The Design Analyst will review proposed node split designs to determine the preferred drop-in node location based on bandwidth distribution using the Node Split Analysis tool. This would be on-going daily work with a maximum expected volume of 900 nodes.
3. The Design Analyst will record the results of their node analysis using tracking methods that may include a Sharepoint database list, Excel spreadsheets, or Optix workflow tasks. This would be on-going daily work.
4. The Design Analyst will be expected to communicate with design contractors and Cox field teams on the results of the design analysis work. This would be on-going daily work.
5. The Design Analyst may be asked to do reporting analysis on a Sharepoint database list or Excel spreadsheet for tracking or presentation purposes. This would be occasional work as requested by program leads.
6. Outside Plant Design experience would be a plus.
