for a regular client of ours in the Netherlands, The Hague, are we looking for a Senior Security Consultant/Officer

Role: Security Officer, Senior level work

Project Information

Since the government prevails. The consultant herein plays a central and leading role with an eye for consistency in the infrastructure of e-government.
For the purpose of various activities related to information security, a security officer sought to strengthen the team in Portal Services.
A security officer Portal Services contributes to the ability of the security policy within the organization is respected. The main focus is to coordinate the implementation at BIR Portal Services. In addition, the security officer is involved in ongoing projects, and advises about the aspects that affect the information security with the aim of that project results include protective measures.

Required Knowledge
The following proven knowledge and experience expected of the security officer:
- CISSP (knock out)
- CISA, CISSO or similar is a plus
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
- Substantive knowledge of ISO 27001: 2005, substantive knowledge of the BIR is an advantage
- Implementation of an ISMS, implementation and review of frameworks recently carried out
- Creating reports "ready for audit 'or audit reports drawn up by
- Substantive knowledge of Project Management (PRINCE2, SCRUM) and the performance of coordination activities
- Senior candidate for an executive role (75 tactical, operational 75)

Required skills
The security officer
- Acts on behalf of the client as an independent consultant in the information security;
- Oversees the development of new services and changes in the organization and analyzes the associated risks;
- Reports to the management of the service on the general portal services security image and specific security issues.
- Will also have to overcome resistance to ensure compliance with the policies and guidelines as these are often perceived as an impediment to the execution of the work or as "imposed" from outside.

Because the projects in portal services are very diverse in nature The security officer must have a broad technical knowledge of security plan as well as knowledge of project management processes and procedures.
