Description

Service Desk Analyst role in Bristol - walking distance from the train station.

Providing first and second line support to a company of 250 internal staff.

Technical skills required:

- Windows Server and Desktop (2003, 2008, 2012, XP, 7 and 8)

- AD and Group Policy.

Desirable experience:

- VMWare, Mac OS, Lotus Notes or Domino

The job entails resolving issues as much as possible, escalating them when it's not, fulfilling requests efficiently and effectively, managing problems and meeting all SLAs. You'll be supporting some 250 internal users.

Apart from the technical skills you'll need to have good interpersonal skills and the confidence to deal with problem solving, troubleshooting and diagnostics in an IT service management environment. If you've worked with ITIL or Cobit previously you'll be at an advantage.

Other technologies you'll come into contact with include iOS and Blackberry, LANDesk and computer networking (IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN).
