Description
C++ Solaris Developer wanted for an international bank located in Zurich.Your tasks:
- Taking responsibility for changes that go through multiple tiers including feed processing, risk calculations and exposure reporting
- Designing and implementing new server functionality
- Writing code to implement business logic and modifying stored procedures in the Sybase/SQL- Server databases
- Utilizing standards, architectures, and processes to ensure that all code and development practices conform to company guidelines and industry best practices
- Participating in all aspects of the project lifecycle, following stringent rules and procedures for testing and promoting code in compliance with company change control processes
Your experience/skills:
- Development background in: C++, UNIX (Solaris), RDBMS (relational database management system) as well as experience with shell scripting and Perl
- A solid understanding of standard change control policies and procedures and experience working in an IT environment with rigorous change control procedures
- Know - how with all phases of the systems development lifecycle and all phases of the systems development
- Sybase ASE experience is an additional
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German would be a big plus
