The Role – QA SpecialistLocation – Ballydine, Co.Tipperrary, Ireland
Type – 12 month contract – January 2016 start!
Reporting directly to the Quality Lead for the area, the role will be based at the Ballydine, Co. Tipperary site where the Quality department supports both the API and Formulation businesses.
The role would be supporting day to day Quality Assurance activities in and being a core member of the team that manages formulated product on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of Quality Assurance including ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, review of pre and post-processing documentation
- Support release of drug product by preparation of batch packs for QP review
- Review of validation and qualification documentation
- GMP and compliance training and will also be involved in leading quality improvement projects.
Skill Requirements:
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills, excellent analytical and problem solving abilities, proven written and verbal communication skills.
Qualification Requirements:
- Degree or post-graduate qualification in Science, Pharmacy or Engineering field.
Experience Requirements:
Experience is desirable in one or more of the following areas in the pharmaceutical/chemical industry, preferably within a formulation site:
- Quality Function
- Laboratory Analytical Function
- Product Development
