Description
Essential Functions:
* Developing our understanding of customer lifetime value and life cycle management along with analysing activities we conduct
* Propose appropriate measurement methodologies to understand campaign performance
* Use a variety of tools (eg SQL, SAS, Hive) to pull and process data from various database environments.
* Develop, publish, and maintain reports, as well as run and deliver ad hoc customer analysis on loyalty programs requested by internal teams to identify and recommend options to drive business strategy.
* Synthesize qualitative and quantitative customer data from multiple sources to develop comprehensive longitudinal views of customer behavior and attributes in the area of loyalty.
* Perform analysis of marketing campaigns to determine business impacts.
* Support cross-functional research projects on customer behavior and create deep dive analyses to study key trends.
* Drive insight from structured and unstructured social data to augment customer profiles.
* Identify gaps in the data capture strategy and make suggestions on improvements/enhancements.
* Propose new ideas and opportunities for customer analytics projects.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
* BA or BS in Marketing, Psychology, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
* 4+ years of experience in customer analytics or web analytics, within the E-commerce and/or Insight CRM space
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
* Experience with SQL required.
Communication Skills:
* Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills with ability to collaborate with partners across the company.
Reasoning Ability:
* Strong data analysis skills working with large, complex data sets from multiple sources with ability to structure, manipulate, and cleanse data as needed.
* Proven ability to effectively translate data into relevant and actionable insights.
* Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
* Proven ability to work independently to achieve a successful result with minimal guidance.
Other Skills:
* Previous experience with loyalty programs a plus.
* Experience working with qualitative data a plus.
* Experience with Tableau, SAS and in Hadoop a plus.
* Keen interest in the retail industry as well as customer loyalty and behavior a must.
