(Junior) Data quality assistant
Profile:
The ideal candidate is an all-rounder and hands-on AS400 (data) analyst, with a first working experience. The candidate is methodological, structured and considers documentation as part of the job. Helpdesk experience on the second/third level is a plus.
The candidate is customer driven, eager to learn and has an affinity for the business side (mutuality's, business processes like payments requests ). He/she will assist the DBA/Quality manager with operational tasks and will be part of a small but dynamic team. He/she will have frequent contacts both with business users and IT experts.
Standard working hours with occasional "stand by" outside normal hours for major releases.
Competencies:
IT knowledge:
- first experience in DBA/BI in an AS400 environment
- and with DB systems: IBM DB2 & MS SQL Server
- SQL queries
Team player: good communicator, flexible, open minded and assertive.
Multilingual: Dutch/French
Geographical mobile: main place of work is Anderlecht (Brussels) but regular presence in Bruges and Wilrijk (Antwerp) is required.
Work package:
1.Data management
- Support for business processes like "Vorderingen"
- Aligning business processes and dataflows (Data Flow Diagrams)
- Setting up batch schedules to support the execution of these processes
2.Data base administration of enabling systems
- DB systems IBM DB2 & MS SQL Server
- SQL Servers
3.Experienced with reporting
- Interest in BI
4.Maintain, document and improve
- Build up knowledge and document systems ( cfr 1-3)
