Award winning EMEA Business & Technology is looking for an Interconnect Engineer to work within a UK/European distributed engineering team focusing on MSS/SBC hardware and software, produce architecture designs, low-level designs and build documents and handover processes.The Interconnect Engineer must have proven voice engineering skills within a large Telecom Provider environment, having exposure to the following technologies, which are listed below and who has delivered major voice designs within the last 12 months. Ideally we need someone with experience working with Huawei.
The Interconnect Engineer must have:
-A minimum of 5 years voice engineering experience.
-Engineering experience of CUCM ver 7.x & 8.x and Cisco Unity 5.x and Unity Connection 8.x.
-Engineering experience of Avaya & Legacy Nortel Call Server and Contact Centre Platforms, CM / Elite, CS1k / CCMS / CCx, AACC
-A proven understanding of SIP Session Management and how this technology fits inside and between Service Providers.
-A proven understanding of service provider versions of Oracle Session Border Controller (SBC) technology.
-A proven understanding of the SIP protocol, SIP trunking and IP delivered voice services
-A proven understanding of security both internal, external and extranet.
-A good understanding of mobile technology both connectivity and devices.
