My Client is actively looking for a Senior SAP Basis Specialist for a daily rate contract role based in South Dublin.

The SAP Basis Specialist is responsible for the technical management of the SAP environment. Primary tasks will include involvement and responsibility for SAP Solutions Manager monitoring and the SAP encryption project across the SAP estate. Responsibilities may also include configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment on an on-going basis.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Experience in: installing, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting SAP NetWeaver (ABAP & Java) based application and technical components, (eg: SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Portal, Business Warehouse, Solution Manager and Business Objects)
- 10+ years of relevant experience as SAP Basis Administrator
- Experience with Solution Manager and System Landscape directory and End to End monitoring
- Working knowledge of SAP encryption technologies
- Working knowledge of UNIX(AIX)/DB2/SFTP/FTP
- Experience with change management processes and transport management
- Must be able to demonstrate solid knowledge of Root Cause Analysis
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and practices would be an advantage.
