Endeavour Recruitment has a rare opportunity for a Senior Test Engineer in one of the largest software organisations in Ireland. Applicants must have a strong technical testing background. The role is based in Cork, Ireland. Remuneration is €260.EUR per day for a 12 Month Contract
The perfect role for a Senior Test Engineer who is interested in progressing towards a development role specifically in web based systems. This is a new role due to expansion and the successful applicant will report to a Project Manager and work closely with the development teams and management to maintain high quality standards.
Applicants must have:
- Over six years of web based testing
- Experienced in writing test plans and test procedures
- Experience with regression, integration and system level test execution
- Previous use of Visual Studio (Test Edition) HP Quick Test Pro, Selenium or similar
- Experience of defect tracking tools
Skillset and Experience:
- Ability to test on multiple across different technologies
- Excellent team player
- Take ownership of problems through to resolution
- A good track record of attaining results and high standards
- The ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent time management skills
