IT Security Engineer - Linux (Linux, Bash, Perl, Redhat)
Our Luxembourg-based client is currently looking for an IT Security Engineer role to join their offices on a contract basis.
Responsibilities:
Perform operational activities in order to maintain Linux/Unix environments in accordance with the relevant security policies, standards and procedures
Identify area of improvement and propose enhancements to existing environments
Participate in the implementation and deployment of the new security solutions and processes
Maintain a high level of procedural documentation in with the international standards of Quality Management.
Our requirements:
Ability to work in a customer-facing role, attention to detail and a service orientated attitude
Fluency in written and spoken English; French or German would be a distinct advantage
Knowledge and understanding of the RedHat, Linux audit and security concepts and Scripting languages (eg Ksh, Bash, Perl) would be a plus point
Knowledge and understanding of the PKI concepts or Windows security concepts or Oracle RDMS would be a plus point
