Description
Our client is looking for a trillingual (FR/NL/ENG) Functional Analyst for a 3 year contract role in Belgium beginning in February 2016.
Mission duration: 3 years, with the option to stop the contract each 3 months, with a months' notice
Working hours: Normal NBB working hours: 5 days from Monday until Friday (7h36 per day)
Mission description
- Assist in defining and reviewing requirements and use cases for the application.
- Assist in defining and reviewing the non-functional requirements for the application, including security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements.
- Use the business requirements to drive out application requirements and metrics.
- Transform customer, functional and non-functional requirements into a workable design at the functional and/or technical levels.
- Inform the technical architect and project manager of any issues that may affect other areas of the project.
- Participate in quality management reviews with the stakeholders, ensuring the application design and related work products satisfy the requirements.
- Participate in transitioning the functional designs to the developers, and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the designs.
- Collaborate with the human interface designer to successfully design the user interface.
- Create functional test scenarios and test data and support the functional testing phase.
- Complete and maintain through the project life cycle all appropriate documentation required by the developers and testers.
Languages
- French/Dutch: active knowledge (understanding/speaking/writing technical documentation/reading) of one language and passive knowledge (understanding/reading) of the second one.

Technical knowledge
- Familiar with business process design concepts and principles.

- XML.
- SWIFT (FIN/MT/MX,Interact, FileAct).
Education & experience
- University degree or the consultant must have a large and proven professional experience as functional analyst.
- 3-5 years experience in functional application design in large development project(s).
- Additional (would be an asset)
- Experience in European System of Central Banks project(s).
- Experience in financial/banking industry as functional design.
