We are currently recruiting for a Database Developer for our client in Brussels -DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS
The specific tasks / activities under this request are:
- Design, implementation and maintenance of the database layer of multi-tier applications
- Data modelling, relational database design and implementation for Oracle databases
- Creation and maintenance of the conceptual, logical and physical data models
- Deployment of the database
- Elaboration and execution of tests programs for testing the implementation of the database model
- Development and maintenance of SQL/PLSQL scripts, stored procedures and scheduled jobs
- Data migration and data alignments between environments
- Writing of technical documentation
SPECIFIC EXPERTISE
More specifically, the required expertise includes:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in relational database design for Oracle
- Minimum 4 years of experience in database development for Oracle
- In depth knowledge of data modelling and relational database design
- In depth knowledge of Oracle RDBMS
- In depth knowledge of Oracle SQL and PLSQL
- Good knowledge and experience with CASE tools for data modelling and database design; experience with Enterprise Architect is desirable
- Knowledge of SVN source control system
- Knowledge of Liquibase is a plus
- Knowledge of design and development of multi-tier web applications
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application development
- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid selfstarting capability and experience in working in team.
