Financial Controller - Freelance Position
For one of our clients in the financial sector ClearSource is urgently looking for a Financial controller for a freelance position in the South of Brussels. As financial controller you will be part of an international Controllers department within our client. This department ensures the integrity of the financials and provides advisory support to the business teams across the company.
Start: 4 January 2016
Duration: 3 months +
Location: South of Brussels
Role:
- Your main mission will be to coordinate the statutory reporting process on international level
- You will support the Cash Management activities (preparation of manual payments)
- You are responsible of the US GAAP reporting activities
- You will lead diverse projects with various stakeholders
- You coordinate and validate accounting and statutory reporting compliance
- You manage the relation with external provider
- You manage and coordinate the statutory audits
- You ensure all statistical reporting obligations are met
- You are responsible of the Financial Integrity (reporting tasks)
- You propose and implement process improvements
Profile:
- CPA or relevant accounting certification
- You have BIG 4 audit experience (PWC, EY ) - preferred
- Experience with Oracle R12 Financial - preferred
- Experience with Hyperion is a strong plus
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Strong analytical skills and structure
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Stress resistant and sense of urgency
- Fluent in English is a MUST
- High PC skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
