Front End Developer

Description

Function Labs is a small creative agency located in downtown Orlando. We specialize in producing and hosting highly customized WordPress solutions.

We are currently looking for an experienced Front End Developer to join us on a contract basis. While it is preferred to work with someone in a US timezone, we would be open as long as the applicant could display a high level of communication.

Requirements

• A demonstrated history of developing high-quality front-end code with great attention to design detail
• Clean, semantic markup and well-organized CSS and JS
• The ability to review specs, wireframes, and designs and ask the right questions
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks, specifically Bootstrap
• Experience developing with a CSS preprocessor (SASS or LESS)
• Experience developing with a modern build tool (grunt.js or gulp.js)
• Good management and recording of time
• Passion for development and cutting-edge technologies
• A Github account, preferably with some public projects we can look at

Nice to have

• Passion for development and cutting-edge technologies
• Experience working with Vagrant
• Familiarity developing within WordPress
• Experience writing CoffeeScript
