Description
Flint are seeking a IoE (M2M) Solutions Architect for a project in Paris with a potential duration of upto 2 years. As the IoE Solutions Expert you will be responsible for the architectural planning and design along and integration support for Client applications.
This is an exciting role with a tier one technology vendor with significant responsibility in new technology area that has senior management focus.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience and recent engagement in this area.
Role & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of Vertical IoE Solutions based services to Client's key accounts.
- Performs architectural planning and design along and integration support for Client applications.
- Identify & document design/architecture best practices for global Client Services adoption.
- Drives and oversee the implementation of customer projects
- Initiates and consults on original creative efforts that are vital to the success of the organization.
- Provides new technology training for service engineers and/or customers on an ongoing basis.
- Represent Client for industry panel discussion and present training for customers at technical
- conferences.
- Influence technology directions and decisions with Client business units. Work closely with other
- Client business units in bringing new technology information to the group and customers.
- Produce technical white papers in design and troubleshooting in specific areas of expertise for use
- by Client engineers, sales teams and customers.
- Provide documented design review plans and migration plans to engineers and customers when
- involved with design projects.
- Responsible for building and leading technology virtual teams in to help engineers become experts in the design and troubleshooting of the specific technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Preferably an MS degree in EE, Computer Science plus 10-12 years' experience in network engineering or telecommunications support environment with strong vertical experience.
- Exposure to IT/Network environments, or consulting
- Experience and knowledge of network architecture, network management, network availability, QOS & capacity planning, IP Networking, LAN Switching, Security, Cloud architecture.
- Desired Skills
- Experience and knowledge of radio technologies and architecture such as cellular, Wi-Fi, RF Mesh, ...
- Experience and knowledge of capacity planning, radio planning indoor and outdoor, radio survey and capacity planning drive test campaign with associated tools
- Experience and knowledge of constrained protocols and applications as used by IOT applications and use cases, ie CoAP, ...
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to execute on documentation and presentations ? Demonstrated experience in project management, leadership and mentoring skills
- Good command over documentation tools like MS Word, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint etc.
- Good knowledge of Field Area Network, background in RF Planning
- CNP, CCDP, or CWNA ? CCDE preferred
